We’ve Raised $20M! Announcing Sendlane’s Official Series A!

Today I’m excited to announce that Sendlane has officially raised $20m for our Series A! 

Partnering with Thomas Kershisnik and Dan Bjornson of Five Elms Capital, we are excited for not only what this funding will enable us to do but for who this funding will enable us to become! 

Sendlane started its journey as an email marketing automation platform for digital retailers, offering an easy-to-use and robust system that maximized revenue for their business using our triggers, insights, and deep-data integrations.

Integrating with eCommerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce, our vision was to give businesses the ability to collect meaningful data on each customer and/or transaction so that they could then segment that data to create more personalized customer communication that would ultimately result in increased ROI. 

In late 2018, Vitaliy Rizhkov and Vlad Nester at Zing Capital joined forces with Sendlane and enabled us to continue fueling our vision of providing digital retail marketers with the tools they needed to grow their own business. 

As we continued to drive ROI for digital retail marketers, we saw a massive lack in the unity of eCommerce data, huge learning curves for marketers trying to learn their “stack” and a very fragmented customer experience for the end-user. 

And that’s why we raised this investment. 

We want to solve that problem. 

We want to make it as easy as possible to generate revenue for your business.

We want your customers to have a better experience with your business. 

Our mission is to be the single source of truth for your business by delivering deep data insights across the customer journey and eliminating data disparity by unifying your marketing stack.

As an eCommerce Customer Experience (eCX) Marketing Automation Platform, we enable brands to deliver meaningful interactions that create loyal, lifetime customers without technical learning curves or long implementation cycles. 

Oh, and of course, we continue to provide world-class support that our customers rave about!

Above all, this raise will enable us to fulfill our vision to continue providing a product that meets our customers’ needs. As we look toward the next 12-18 months, expect a lot of new product releases!

Audiences, our tool that unifies the customer data, will provide complete and comprehensive views of your customer insights, all conveniently located within our platform. Collecting from multiple data sources, you will be equipped with everything you need to create increased engagement and send targeted, personalized messages that heighten your customer experience and increase your ROI.

Next up is our brand-new SMS product launching this Fall! With increased functionality and deeper tracking, you can expect to see 2-way communications and campaign-level sending enabled. 

These are just two of the many product releases that are on the way. 

We’ll also be strengthening our team with key leadership positions and by recruiting passionate people who are excited to join our mission and help us build!

This is just a glimpse of what’s to come!
